Maddie + Brandon [Cameron Estate]

Our assignment was to create an elevated garden party design pulling in their color palette with a variety of watercolor florals. They chose to use sage, blush pink. lilac, baby blue and a pop of peach throughout their day. The objective was to crate a romantic invitation suite but not too modern or boring. They wanted it to focus on details that were a direct nod to who they were as a couple and their little family - of dogs. You will see that one theme throughout - their pups Gus, Stella and Piper.

Short Story: The thing that stands out ot us about Maddie and Brandon’s wedding design is their desire to bring in their dogs throughout the design. We intentionally hid their three labradors in our illustration of the venue, The Cameron Estate Inn located in Mt. Joy, Pa. We hid them on the porch and if you knew where to look you could find them. The invitation featured a lot of florals but different from how we have laid them out in the past. Instead of a floral arrangement these dainty florals were separated creating a pattern of their own. Maddie and Brandon also opted out of the clean white background and opted for a more classic ivory a nod to the historic venue. There was no missing their pups on their wedding day. We featured them on the table numbers, the bar sign and the favors to honor their late dog, Gus. We absolutely love when couples bring their full family into their wedding day design. It is so personal and intentional - and who doesn’t love a furry friend.
