Back in November 2024, when we traveled to Dingle, Ireland for a creative retreat, we were captivated by the magic of the Dingle Skellig Hotel with its panoramic coastal views, peaceful energy, and seamless indoor-outdoor charm. We knew then and there that we wanted to celebrate this slice of Ireland in a special way. That’s when the idea for our Irish Love Story Giveaway was born. We decided to gift 100 custom wedding invitations to one couple getting married in Ireland in 2025 or 2026. After reading through countless beautiful love stories, one stood out and it felt like fate.
When we read Davy and Eimear’s entry, we realized this wasn’t just an Irish love story, it was a Dingle love story. From first dates in cozy pubs to a breathtaking engagement at Inch Beach, Dingle has been the backdrop of so many milestone moments in their relationship.
They met in County Kerry, fell in love in Dingle, and now they’re bringing it full circle by celebrating their wedding at the Dingle Skellig Hotel, the very place we fell in love with ourselves. It’s like the story wrote itself.
From Davy: “Loving each other just comes easy and natural to us. Eimear brightens up every room. She’s caring, fun, and one of a kind.”
From Eimear: “Davy always goes the extra mile. He makes me feel like I can always be myself.”
Summery, flowery, full of dancing and good vibes. The bridesmaids will wear soft baby pink maxi dresses, while the groomsmen will look sharp in tuxedos. And of course, their venue? As they put it:
“Anywhere you look, the space is breathtaking. When you look out the window, it feels like you're looking into a painting.”
We couldn’t wait to translate this magic into illustrated form bringing the hotel views, Inch Beach memories, and Dingle charm to life through custom invitations designed just for them.
We’re diving into the design process and can't wait to capture all the joy and detail that makes their day unique. Our hope is that when their guests open the envelope, they’ll feel transported to the Wild Atlantic Way on the coast of Kerry.
