Hannah + JD at Millport Estate

Assignment —
Nancy Meyers Chic
Palette —
Taupe, White, Greens, Neutrals
objectives —
Cozy, Classic, Timeless

This wedding was not only special because it was Emily’s sister, but also because we were able to fully bring the full cohesive vision into execution. Hannah is really big on cozy - adding pillows and throw blankets all around their home and her wedding was no different. Inspired by her grandmother’s home, Hannah really wanted to bring in the colors into their day with subtle pops of gold and black to counter their neutral pallet. They wanted to avoid flowers as much as possible so we focused on greenery and used book pages to create thousands of paper leaves for the tablescapes. We carried the paper leaves into the garland at their ceremony location and throughout the various vases all around the venue. Our favorite part was the gallery wall seating chart that spanned fully across the barn backdrop but also served as a photo moment at cocktail hour.
