Deven + Kenneth at Aldie Mansion

Assignment —
Classic but with edge
Palette —
White, taupe, black, greenery
objectives —
Timeless, sophisticated, neutral

The old classic venue, the Aldie Mansion, was to serve as a backdrop and focus for the entire evening. We were really drawn to the mansion’s gothic window shape which we utilized as part of their crest. We also loved the mansion’s textural pattern and we chose to lighten it up to keep with their neutral palette choice. Because they wanted a little something unexpected, we opted to utilize a horizontal layout for the main invitation. We knew this would allow the venu illustration to sit beautifully on the back of the invite, but they also opted to use a vellum envelope so the venue would be the first thing guest would see at the mail box.
